Top 10 Players With Most Runs In LPL History (2026 Records)

July 27, 2026

Author: Kavin Fernando

Avishka Fernando is the all-time leading run-scorer in Lanka Premier League history, with 1,699 runs from 55 matches across six seasons. Kusal Mendis sits second with 1,476 runs, and Dinesh Chandimal is third with 1,410 runs a top three that has stood strong since the tournament’s very first edition in 2020.

These numbers matter right now because the sixth edition of the LPL is currently being played in Sri Lanka, running from July 17 to August 8, 2026, under the organisation of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). The tournament was originally meant to happen in late 2025 but got pushed into this July-August window so SLC could prepare venues ahead of the T20 World Cup.
